Friendship Warms the Heart

Happy Friday!

For most of you it was probably a short week like it was for me.
I haven't had much time to stamp because I've had family visiting all week but I did take a moment to get this card done.

Today I used the adorable Singing Crazy Birds from the Woodland Friends Release at High Hopes.

I know my card isn't really very wintery but I was inspired by this pretty paper from the Petticoats and Pinstripes paper pad from Echo Park.

I colored the image with Prisma Pencils and blended with gamsol and blending stumps.

The flowers are Recollections from Michael's.

The sentiment is Friendship warms the heart.

Snowman Hot Tub

                          Happy New Year......almost.....High Hopes Fans!

For today's post I used an older stamp from High Hopes called "Snow Yummy".
I had fun with this one ......especially coming up with a name for the card. I wanted to keep the card layout fairly simple on this one so this fun stamp would be the focus of the card.

I guess this is what snow people do to relax.....sit in a cup of hot chocolate...

I coloured up my stamp with alcohol markers, fussy cut it out adn popped him up with pop dots. The cup is paper pieced with paper from an older 6x6 pad of Bo Bunny paper. I also fussy cut the snowflake in the  - yes I am breaking in my new cuticle scissors with this one - and added a drop of silver moondust Nuvo crystal drops to the middle of it.
The sentiment is stamped directly on the snow hills - yes I held my breath and stamped lol.
Stitched snow hills were cut out using a die along with the fence. Some ribbon from my stash and some more Nuvo crystal drops finish off my card.

Fox Friends

Howdy - MichelleO here and now that things have settled down and a little quiet time for crafting after all the Christmas holiday. I had this adorable new High Hopes Stamp "Fox Friends" that I had been just really wanting to ink up. These little foxes are too cute to not color and bring to life!

Cute right? I colored up with my Copics (colors below) and then matched up with some papers from the Paper Studio Theodosia Square collection. Matched up with a dark brown core'dination card stock and kraft card stock for the base. I sewed down the layers and added some vintage buttons for embellishments. The High Hopes Sentiment "Thank You for being a friend" just seemed to work perfect with these foxes.

Copic colors used -

The new High Hopes Stamps Woodland Friends are just so much fun and really great images for so many cards!

I hope you enjoyed these little foxes and make sure to see all the Woodland Friends - HERE at the High Hopes Store! And then keep a watch cuz the new release is coming out January 1st!

Friends Snooze!

Howdy!
Now here's a cute pair! I think they are totally exhausted form the Christmas Season and are having a little nap LOL! This image is called "Friends Snooze" and is from the High Hopes Stamps new December Release called "Woodland Friends".

I decided to paper piece the bear. The paper from the Bo Bunny Sleigh Ride 6x6 collection was perfect for this card. The wood grain pattern adds a nice dimension to the bear don't you think? I used some Icicle Stickles on the branch and added a few silver snowflakes to finish things off.
More of the same papers on the inside paired with the sentiment called "Friendship Warms the Heart".
Copics Used:
Reds: R01, R22, R24, R27
Blues: B21, B24, B26, B28
Branch: YG63, YG67
Ground: C0, C1, C3

and a happy New Year!!

Merry Christmas High Hopes Fans!!

Today is all about Family and Friends, so I won't be keeping you up that long...
I'd like to share a little Christmas gift I gave to all my nanny-kids last week:

Wrapping up with a piece of stamped paper just gives it a personal touch..
I used "Mooshie Steals a Kiss" and the "Merry Christmas" sentiment.

I only stamped and haven't coloured it, cause it's about the gift and not about the wrapping ;)

Have a great Christmas Day!

Merry Christmas!

 Merry Christmas High Hopes fans!
I'm back to share one last Christmas Tag with you today.

Created with the following High Hopes Stamps ...
&

I wanted to create a real sunny design, no traditional colours on this tag.
I really like this sentiment and thought it would be fun to add this tag to a hostess gift.
All the shopping, decorating and getting ready for the holidays is done! Now it's time to enjoy.
Don't worry, you've got this :)
So I tried to stick with citrus and a nice blue sky colour on this tag. Sewing stitches, cream acrylic paint and orange bakers twine for some sunny added details. I added some Christmas washi tape across the top of the image and a file tab that notes Merry Christmas too.The image is coloured with Copic Markers and also added touches of the acrylic paint to the image.
Thanks for peeking! I hope your able to put your feet up and relax this Christmas.  Remember to enjoy the time spent with Friends and Family.

You Got this!

Hello High Hopes Fans!

My final card before the Christmas weekend is perfect for me and for many of you!

I used the new Seeds of Friendship image from High Hopes.

The sentiment is Don't Worry.

I still have so much to do to get ready for company.
The gifts are wrapped and the decorations are done but I need to clean the house and do the grocery shopping!

If you are like me and still have a lot to do I recommend you do what I am doing....take a breath and get done what you can get done...and don't sweat what you can't get done.

You friends and family won't notice and won't care!

Enjoy your friends and family....and don't worry...You got this!

All Hearts

Merry Christmas to our High Hopes Fans and all of my blog followers!

We celebrated Christmas with my family this past Sunday. It is always hard because I have a sister and brother and their families out West who weren't able to be here - but it is always fun to put a package together for them and race the mail to get it to them in time! <smile>

This stamp from High Hopes reminds me of my family and how all of our hearts come together at Christmas.

We all know our hearts are joined every day, but even more so at this time of year.

Meet "Homespun Hearts Snowy". I have also used the "All Hearts" sentiment both from High Hopes. I think this is a great winter stamp that could be used for winter cards too but I chose to use it for Christmas.

I coloured the snowman with alcohol markers and fussy cut him out. It is hard to see in the picture but I added a clear sparkle pen to all of the hearts.
A couple weeks ago I literally broke the scissors I use to fussy cut so I am breaking in a new pair. Next I cut a white circle and ran it through a snowflake embossing folder to create my background. I cut my patterned paper pieces and mounted them on cardstock. The sentiment is stamped and the hearts are coloured with alcohol makers. Some cotton lace and gumdrops finish off the card. The snowman was added at the end and he is popped up with pop dots.
