Bob Loves Golf

Hello High Hopes Fans

I am excited to share another one of my cards, using one of the stamps and sentiment from the new release--All About Boys!
Jane

This is Bob Loves Golf (T517), and sentiment from Sentiment Set #4 (U507).  These stamps are so fun to work with!!!  And this card is very universal -- it could be used as a birthday card, father's day card, or just to give to that special guy in your life!

I coloured Bob with Tombow Markers and water. After the image was all coloured and dry, I added some Glossy Accents to Bob's sunglasses and golf ball (a bit difficult to see this in this picture).  The sentiment was embossed with Blue Tinsel embossing powder first, then punched out with a 1 1/2" circle punch.  A Cuttlebug Embossing Folder called - Tiny Bubbles, was used to create a more realistic golf ball for the sentiment, which foam tape was applied to make it pop out from the image.  To complete this design, a blue sequins ribbon was added along the bottom of the card.

Supplies Used:

Ink - Tombow Markers -491, N60, 942, 850, N55, N75, 443, 452, 925, 933, 856, 126 and 133. Versamark Ink Pad, Black Embossing Powder, Blue Tinsel Embossing Powder.

Paper - American Crafts - #Summer 6x6 Paper Pad; Blue and Orange Cardstock.

Misc - Glossy Accents, 1 1/2" Circle Punch, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder - Tiny Bubbles, Blue Sequins Ribbon, Water BrushFoam Tape, Glue Dots.

The New Release is NOW Available.

Surf Star!

                             Happy Thursday High Hopes fans!

Have you joined our challenge for July -  Anything High Hopes Goes ?               Today is your last day to play along! There are so many fun images to                            choose from - come join the fun!

I don't know if you've noticed but Bob sure is one super talented dude! Today we find him doing a photo shoot - he is a surfing star! We would expect nothing less from Bob at this point - he seems to do it all!

My post today features Bob's A Surfer Dude (T519) and a sentiment from Sentiment Set #4 (U507).

                                                     Donna

I coloured Bob with alcohol markers (list below)and fussy cut him and popped him up with pop dots. He put on his favourite pair of flowered shorts (paper pieced) for this photo shoot. I fussy cut the camera from some patterned paper and added the sentiment after stamping it and cutting it out with a circle die.

I didn't have a film strip die so I got out my square dies and the hole punch from my Making Memories tool kit and voila. A polaroid die with some sky patterned paper and inked edges gives some background to the stamp. Glitter gold enamel dots finished off my card.

Have a happy and safe long weekend! Stay cool!

Bob Loves Golf

Howdy -

MichelleO here - Another great new image from High Hopes Stamps - Bob Love Golf

Now I am not a "golfer" but coloring this one was too much fun. Maybe it was finding the perfect pattern paper to create a paper pieced pair of golfing pants out of! LOL

I colored with my Copics (colors below) and then found the pattern paper for him. Went pretty wild... as don't most serious golfers where the most ridiculous patterns?  I used the same paper and lots of card stock mats for this one. Sewed down all the layers then added the sentiment that is also from High Hopes Sentiment #4 Collection - then a few buttons for added fun.

Inside more of the same papers.

Copic colors used -

So I may not "get" golf.. but coloring it up was fun!

Hang Ten!

Howdy High Hopes Fans!
My card today shows the super cute image called Gabriel Loves Surfing! Gabriel has to be the cutest little Dude! Can't you just picture him in Hawaii surfing the waves?
I'm using paper from the Fancy Pants Making Waves 6x6 collection. The sentiment is from the HH Sentiment Set#4. I added some twine and a button for my embellishments this time around. And can you believe it no glitter pen..... I know I struggled with that LOL. I just didn't think Gabriel wanted to be sparkly LOL.
On the inside I used some of the scraps from my papers to tie everything together! I left the inside blank so I can personalize it when an occasion pops up.
Copics Used:

Born To Ride

                                       Happy Thursday High Hopes fans!

Have you joined our challenge for July -  Anything High Hopes Goes?
There are so many fun images to choose from! Come play along!

When I think motorcycle riders, I think black leather - the coat riders usually wear for safety. I had another plan for this card to be honest but it didn't come together. Honestly, I like the finished card better then what was in my head. Sometimes I like happy accidents. <wink>

Bob LOVES his motorcycle so I think he would have shiny chrome, a special set of keys and his own personalized licence plate don't you think?

My post today features Bob Loves His Motorcycle (S526) and a sentiment from Sentiment Set #4 (U507).

                                                     Donna

I coloured Bob with alcohol markers (list below)and fussy cut him with manicure scissors. It is hard to see in the photo but the "silver" or "chrome" is coloured with a silver gel pen.  I die cut the licence plate, stamped my sentiment, added Bob and popped the plate up with pop dots. His key ring is made up of a "ring" I had in my stash, a key and a motorcycle charm. I added a few black crystals to finish my card off.

Bob's on holidays! -- Hogh Hopes Stamps

Thanks for peeking today.  I have two posts to share. High Hopes can be found below. One Crazy Stamper can be found here. Thanks for looking :)
Bob's busy again and this time he's on Vacation somewhere between Flordia and Jamacia ... Cuba maybe :)
I love to recycle and reuse whenever possible.  The background paper is from an old Atlas which I think puts Bob in a great location for his Vacation!
I cut a curve in the background map using a Hills die from YNS which is available over at One Crazy Stamper.  This allowed me to place the base of Bob's wave into the background paper which gave the look of a rolling wave effect.

Added some Navy ribbons plus a bronze "B" for Bob of as a finishing touch.

Bob's A Water Ski Dude!

MichelleO here  with some Summer Water Fun! But mine was coloring up the water fun! This is Bob's A Water Ski Dude - and looks to be having a great time on the water -

I made an easel card with Bob - thought I needed some room to make a "splash"! I colored with Copics (colors below) I found papers from Pebbles Front Porch collection. Sewing down on red card stock on a off white base. I found an old flourish die that didn't fit just right so I cut it apart and made it splash the way I wanted. Hubby then informed me that it was backwards. Really? Well I splash this way and so does Bob. I added lots of Stickles! Water sparkles you know. I used a couple of different colors so they show different colors.

My sentiment is also High Hopes "It's Your Day!"   - Fun sentiment that works for a few different kind of cards. Love the font too!

Close up of Bob -

Copic colors used -

I hope you enjoyed my card with a big splash! Great Summer Fun cards!
